Hello warriors, how are you?
Everything seems to be happening at once. It goes that way doesn’t it. Last week I don’t think I got a newsletter done.
I am back in Hastings for Ollies big exams – I’m worried about some bits that my health issues prevent us from practicing.
Next week the Labour Party should be talking about PIP – I am really fretting about this. The process is so hard as it is and now his first action was to take heating away from pensioners. I think I voted for the wrong person. Big time. I am really worried for myself and my community.
My attempt at preparing meals for myself (sitting using a microwave) has not worked, so I am fretting about this as I want to be able to do meals myself.
I just got confirmation that MY PIP Assessment is on Friday 11th October. I have not submitted my evidence and I just haven’t had time. So I feel guilty about that and worried about the assessment. Even though I work on aspects of PIP every day, I know my assessment will upset me and I am worried as to what the outcome will be.
I need to work on my practice notes and make sure I am ready. I am going to work on that as soon as I upload this. I think I will try and film it as well as I really think it does help people to see a REAL example of someones experience.
Also, I am really stressed about Mandatory Reconsiderations as they are not fcuking reading them, so on average on a weekly basis 7 out of 10 meetings I have been doing are free. I do not feel comfortable charging my current clients when its not their fault DWP have not followed their own procedure. I think I am nearly though the clients we are waiting for outcomes on and I have changed my approach so going forward my clients have enough to move straight to Tribunal WITHOUT another meeting with me.
I currently have a number of clients going through to Tribunal stage, although as I type this I just got a message that another client received an offer. A good offer. This just proves that if the DWP read the Mandatory Reconsiderations it would save time, money and so much stress and anxiety for the individual going through the process.
I desperately need to get ahead with YouTube as I will start declining even more the closer we get to proper winter.
So, I am really sorry but this is it this week!
But, good news. This video is MASSIVELY HELPFUL. I really hope lots of people watch it as it could be the difference between winning and losing PIP:
And next weeks newsletter will be really good as I will write about my assessment.
I am sorry its not the normal format, I hope you understand.

Hope your assessment goes the way you want it to
Hiya. Is this where I should write or is it substack? Really am confused.com useless with technical stuff. Have a young autistic friend who does it when available! My first pro bono client codename Prodigal Son, as I did his case to help my carer's mum, was the exception to the rule. He was so inadequate, I know - sounds harsh - but you had to be there, that I did submit a brief statement from his daughter. The Disability Expert on the Tribunal panel had read this statement and questioned him on whether he interacted with and played with his grandsons. He lied and said "yes" ! His daughter explained in her statement that he was incapable of any interaction with them and played with his phone instead. The Judge asked me if I wished to say anything. I simply replied that he would say what he thought the assessor or the Panel wanted him to say ! Case won full amounts awarded . A rare eg but I enjoyed it at the time. Hope you feel better Charlie. I am so chuffed with your Appeal Tribunal Template . 3 appeals looming over me and my clients ! DogMamma x
